It has been a year since losing my "Uncle Billy" and I can finally talk about him. There has not been one day I have not thought about him and my wonderful Aunt Joey. Billy was like my big brother; Grandma had him late in life and my Mother was around 15 or 16 at his birth. Like his friends, I also was an audience to his latest magic trick. Fooled him once by pretending to be hypnotized by staring at something swinging back and forth. Then there was his love for Danny Kaye and singing along with his records. (And if you have ever heard him sing, that was no easy feat). But mostly, the thrilling rides on his bike when he would tote me back and forth to Grandma's house. Billy loved hearing me scream as he weaved in and out of parked cars. LOL. Today, I miss my e-mail buddy. Oh do I miss that. The articles he would send, the jokes and our personal writings to each other. Joey was very special to me. I loved her! I could go on and on with hundreds of stories. He is with Jesus now. I always picture him asking Him if He has ever heard "this one"? LOL
